Thousand and Hearts can be played without creating an account or providing your name, email address, or other direct contact information. The apps use Google services for analytics, crash reporting, consent management, and advertising. Those services may automatically process device, usage, diagnostic, and advertising information as described below.
1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile games Thousand (1000) – card game (also known as “Тысяча”) and Hearts, together referred to as the “Games”, and to the website card-games.app.
The Games are published by Rustam Tabrisovich Iuzmukhametov under the developer name Card Games Development, based in the Netherlands (“we”, “us”, or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact mail@card-games.app.
2. Information handled by the Games
Information stored locally
The Games store settings, appearance choices, sound preferences, game progress, scores, and related gameplay state on your device. This information is used to operate the Games and restore your progress. It normally remains on your device until you clear the app data or uninstall the Game.
Analytics information
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the Games are used and improve their design and performance. The exact information available depends on the device, platform, region, and service configuration, and may include:
- app interactions, screens viewed, gameplay events, and settings categories;
- app version, device type, operating system, language, and general region;
- installation or app-instance identifiers and other identifiers made available by the operating system; and
- basic technical and performance information.
We do not intentionally send your name, email address, contacts, or the contents of other files on your device to Firebase Analytics.
Crash and diagnostic information
We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and reliability problems. Crash reports may include stack traces, app state, gameplay-related diagnostic values, app version, device model, operating-system information, memory and performance information, installation identifiers, and the time of the error. Test errors can also be sent from a hidden diagnostic menu.
Advertising and consent information
We use Google AdMob to display interstitial advertisements. Google and participating advertising partners may process IP addresses, advertising or app identifiers, device information, ad interactions, approximate location inferred from an IP address, and consent choices to provide, limit, personalize, measure, and protect advertising.
Where required, the Google User Messaging Platform asks for your advertising privacy choices before ads are requested. You can revisit those choices through the Privacy and cookie settings or Privacy options entry in a Game when that option is required for your region. You can also control or reset advertising identifiers through your Android or iOS device settings.
Local-network play in Thousand
If you choose Thousand’s local multiplayer feature, the Game uses local-network discovery and direct local communication to find and connect nearby players. Gameplay information and any player or device label used for that session may be visible to the connected devices. This local multiplayer traffic is not intentionally routed through our servers, but other participants on the same local network receive the information needed to run the game.
Website information
The main card-games.app website may use Google analytics and advertising technologies, which can process browser, device, IP-address, page-view, advertising, and interaction information. This Privacy Policy page itself is intentionally served without analytics or advertising scripts so that it remains available before you make a consent choice.
3. Why information is used
Information is used to:
- provide, save, and restore Game functionality;
- understand feature usage and improve gameplay and accessibility;
- detect, diagnose, and fix crashes, abuse, and technical problems;
- display and measure advertisements and prevent advertising fraud; and
- comply with legal, regulatory, and store-platform requirements.
Where applicable law requires consent, we rely on your consent for personalized advertising and related storage or identifier access. For essential local processing, security, service delivery, and limited diagnostics, we rely on performance of the service, our legitimate interests in operating reliable Games, or other legal grounds available under applicable law. You may withdraw consent through the in-app privacy options when available; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before it.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We use Google as a service provider for Firebase, AdMob, and the User Messaging Platform. Google and advertising partners may process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Learn more from:
- Privacy and security in Firebase;
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services;
- Google Privacy Policy; and
- AdMob ad technology providers.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the Games, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or exchange it for money. Advertising providers may process information in ways that some laws define as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”; where applicable, the consent form and device controls provide related choices.
5. Retention and security
Locally stored Game data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the Game. Information handled by Google is retained according to the configuration and retention periods of the relevant Firebase or advertising service and Google’s policies. Crash and analytics records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to understand trends, resolve issues, meet legal requirements, and protect the services.
We and our providers use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections where supported. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. International processing
Google and its subprocessors operate internationally. Information may therefore be processed outside your country, including in countries with different data-protection laws. Google describes its applicable transfer safeguards and processing locations in its privacy and data-processing documentation.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
You can delete locally stored Game information by clearing app data or uninstalling the Game. You can manage advertising choices through the in-app privacy entry point when shown and through your device settings. To make another privacy request, email mail@card-games.app and identify the Game, platform, and nature of your request. Because the Games do not require accounts and we may not be able to associate provider-generated identifiers with you, we might need information from your device to locate a record, and in some cases no identifiable record will be available to us.
8. Children
The Games are general-audience card games and are not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly ask children for personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Games, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s device, advertising, and privacy settings.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Games, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised version at this URL and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Games or store listings where appropriate.
